Evictions/Landlord-Tenant Law

Lacy Katzen LLP represents landlords on evictions matters. We have an extensive eviction practice group dedicated with providing our clients with the most efficient and expeditious way of commencing evictions in all courts in Monroe and the surrounding counties.

Our firm will prepare the Notice of Petition and Petition against your tenant based upon an Eviction Referral Form that can be emailed directly to our office. Once completed, we will contact you to set up a mutually convenient time for you to sign the Petition. Once the Petition is signed, it will be sent to our process server for service upon the tenant.

We will notify you of the court date. An attorney from Lacy Katzen LLP will appear in Court on the eviction date.

If payment arrangements are made with the tenant it is secured with a warrant so if the tenant fails to pay, then the warrant can be issued. Once the Warrant is granted, we will have the Marshal's office server the warrant upon the tenant.
