Michael Schnittman joined Lacy, Katzen, Greene
and Jones, the predecessor of Lacy Katzen LLP,
in 1969 upon graduation from the Cornell Law School.
In 1979, Mr. Schnittman became Chair of the Collection
Department.
Mr. Schnittman has been instrumental in developing
and expanding the collection practice to the present
day, a premier Collection Department in Upstate
New York. The Department consists of over 15 persons,
who have been with the Department for an average
of nearly 10 years.

Peter T. Rodgers represents individuals in trials involving personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful death and business disputes. His work in medical malpractice has involved cardiac, neurologic, obstetrical, orthopaedic and infectious disease lawsuits including the failure to diagnose cancer, heart disease and infectious disease. He has represented patients who are victims of surgical error. He has represented those injured or killed in auto, premises and work place accidents.
Drawing on his expertise, Mr. Rodgers lectures on civil litigation and trial practice, as well as topics such as malpractice prevention and legal ethics. He has lectured for the New York State Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association, the New York State Medical Society and the School of Nursing at the University of Rochester. He has also presented in the Masters in Trial Program of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has written articles on trial practice involving damages, strategies and motion practice. In November, 2007, Mr. Rodgers chaired a seminar sponsored by the New York State Bar Association entitled “Prosecuting and Defending Medical Malpractice Claims”.
Mr. Rodgers is listed in Best Lawyers in America. He is an Advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates. He holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has served as a Trustee of the Monroe County Bar Association and as Chair of the Courts Committee. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past president of the Genesee Valley Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Rodgers was appointed as the Chair of the Attorney Grievance Committee of the Seventh Judicial District by the Appellate Division, Fourth Department and served in that capacity from 2002 until 2005. He is a Trustee of McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester.
Mr. Rodgers is a graduate of Fordham University and earned his law degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts and United States District Courts.
Mr. Rodgers serves as the law firm’s Managing Partner.
