Robin Folts provides sensible solutions to often complex problems though the use of testamentary trusts, irrevocable and revocable trusts along with other estate planning tools to formulate and implement testamentary plans.

Elder Law Planning

Robin provides elderly-community members with estate planning and Medicaid strategies that meet their individual economic goals. She takes pride in listening to their needs and matching those needs with a strategic plan for asset protection. Robin works closely with clients and their families to help create an attainable cost saving, efficient and effective plan. She strives to continually work with clients and their families to prevent unnecessary depletion of assets when faced with long-term-care costs. With Robin’s help, her colleagues successfully defended clients who were sued as a result of acting as Power of Attorney for family members. She is passionate in her representation of clients and is compassionate for their often debilitating ailments.

Creditors’ Rights

Robin has experience in creditors’ rights issues and real estate. She previously worked for a buyer of commercial debt. While there, Robin broadened her skills in complex lender work-outs and traveled extensively to work out large commercial debts including selling real estate owned assets and other collateral located in the Continental United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Robin desires to continually create mechanisms for lender recovery of debtor obligations.

  • Guest speaker for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and has conducted many seminars across Western New York.
  • Guest speaker on the ROC Talk Radio show 102.7 Legends in Rochester on Medicaid issues.
  • Guest on “Ask the Expert” segments for the Finger Lakes News Radio, WGVA 96.1 FM/1240 AM speaking on the following topics:
