Covid-19 CDC & NYS Guidelines

Covid-19 CDC & NYS Guidelines

Lacy Katzen will begin following the CDC and NYS guidance effective Wednesday, May 26th.

What does this mean?
  • Masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated people, including employees, clients, visitors and vendors.
  • To be considered fully vaccinated, two weeks must have passed since your second Covid-19 vaccination for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations or two weeks after the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
  • We recognize that some will continue to wear masks and social distance for their own personal reasons. If a client, employee or visitor is not comfortable meeting without everyone masked it is important that we respect their choice and either wear a mask or find another alternative such as a conference call or video meeting.
  • Social distancing will no longer be required for fully vaccinated employees, clients, visitors and vendors.
  • Unvaccinated employees, clients, visitors and vendors will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing per the policy.
  • All should familiarize themselves with the guidance and take personal responsibility for adherence; please visit Governor Cuomo Announces New York State to Adopt New CDC Guidance on Mask Use and Social Distancing for Fully Vaccinated Individuals (ny.gov) for further information.

Some helpful COVID reminders:
  • Fully vaccinated people should not come to the office if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the prior 10 days or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Fully vaccinated people should still get tested if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Fully vaccinated people with no COVID-like symptoms no longer need to quarantine following an exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, unless otherwise determined by local health officials. We continue to ask all employees to advise HR if directly exposed to COVID-19.
  • Unvaccinated people with COVID-19 symptoms, or those who have been directly exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, should get tested, contact HR and their supervisor, and refrain from coming to work.
Please reach out to our Director of Operations, Sarah DiChiara, at (585) 324-5751 if you have any questions or concerns.
