Lacy Katzen – A four time Rochester Top Workplace Winner

For the fourth year in a row Lacy Katzen LLP is a proud recipient of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle’s Top Workplace recognition!

On the evening of Wednesday, March 27th, members of Lacy Katzen’s culture team together with the firm’s Managing Partner, Craig Welch, Director of Operations, Sarah DiChiara, and Human Resources Manager, Sherry Rettew, attended the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle’s 2019 Top Workplace celebratory event at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center located in downtown Rochester.

Lacy Katzen continues to climb the list in 2019, ranking within the top 3rd of the small business category (companies with 35-124 in- region employees).  We attribute our higher position in this years Top Workplace rankings to positive change, progressive thinking and a continued commitment to our employees and firm values. Lacy Katzen LLP also stood out as the only law firm included among the 65 organizations honored at this year’s event!

The Top Workplace recognition begins with an employee engagement survey completed anonymously by company employees. The survey focuses on multiple categories related to company culture: Alignment, Connection, Effectiveness, My Manager, Engagement, Leadership and The Basics. Within these categories are questions about cooperation, company values, encouragement of new ideas, confidence in company leadership, and feeling appreciated. The survey also asks for feedback regarding satisfaction levels with pay, flexibility, training and expectations.

Lacy Katzen employees and attorneys came together the morning following the Top Workplace event to celebrate the firm’s winning culture – sharing in a delicious catered breakfast for everyone.
