On Thursday, June 6th, Lacy Katzen paralegal Kimberly Heller received the 2019 Unsung Legal Hero Award. The award was one of several presented at the 2019 Excellence in Law Awards luncheon held at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. Other awards presented included the Top Women in Law award and the Up & Coming Attorneys award. Winners were selected by a panel of legal and business leaders.

Kim started with Lacy Katzen in 2013 as an administrative assistant eventually to move into a paralegal role with the firm. “ Kim stands out as a leader in our firm’s workplace culture initiative,” said Sherry Rettew, the firm’s human resources manager. Kim says “I try my best to walk the talk, am committed to being a team player, keeping a positive attitude, expressing gratitude and acknowledging others for a job well done.”
