Prior to joining Lacy Katzen LLP, Taylor practiced at Alaska Legal Services in Anchorage. He assisted clients on a wide array of legal issues, including landlord-tenant, child custody, access to public benefits, and drafting wills and trusts. During law school, Taylor was captain of the Jessup International Moot Court Team. During his tenure, the team won: First Place Memorial, 2017 U.S. Midwest Regional; Fifth Place Memorial, Overall Runner-up, 2018 U.S. Midwest Regional; Third Place Oralist (individual award), Overall Champions, 2019 U.S. Midwest Regional; Eighth Place Respondent Memorial, 42nd Place Oralist (out of approximately 400 competitors, individual ranking), 2019 International Rounds. Immediately after law school, Taylor worked as a Law Fellow for the Public International Law and Policy Group, a nonprofit global law firm assisting states and non-government actors in peace negotiations, transitional Justice, and documentation of atrocities.
